when i listen to music now, its hard to focus on anything else. like sometimes i'd try to read something while listening to music...and i can't so i have to turn the music off. xD

That's fair. Usually the music I listen to while working on other stuff has to have no words in it for me to focus on what I'm doing. I've also found that rain and thunder noises help me a lot when I'm trying to type or read papers.

Yeah I start focusing on the words. Its why I like listening to video game soudtracks sometimes because they usually don't have words.

Youtube had a lot of good ones. I used to play 10 hour loops of legend of zelda themes at work.

Those sound awesome! I also will play lofi mixes. There was one lofi channel that used to livestream lofi mixes of video game themes!

if kind of like techno but more relaxed and quiet. Basically is just super relaxed electronic music. Usually it has a very chill base beat that people add other music and sounds to.
