I used the wings for this avi as soon as I got them, but it's not a wintry avatar. I like to have a spooky avatar every October but that's it. Other times I'm just vibing.

They suit your avtar very well! 
I also used mine as soon as I got them, but only because I decided to use every doughnight item i get this year immediatly and have my avatar evolve during that time. And then make a new one afterwards

yeah for me, i'd probably wait til almost all the items are out. OR if there is an item i particularly like from the set. barring that, i'll probably just make a new avatar, without the calendar items. xD;;
