I think it’s the one thing I hate about HK. The weather is always hot and humid and just being out for awhile makes my skin all sticky. While back home, in May, it’s only like 14-15C. And it’s double that here. QnQ

Totally understandable. I have been in very hot and very cold dry environments like deserts and high mountains, and it is so nice. Still freakin' hot or cold, but you don't get that sense of being covered in honey, a subtle sensation of drowning, and having to chew the air to breathe. DX

Oh yeah. That’s how I feel here.
Altho today, there was a bit of a breeze because we went up a mountain. Saw the famous big Buddha.
Still, it’s like 30plus C here. Still. Lol

Is it the one carved into the side of a cliff? All of the different statues looked pretty epic.
My passport should be arriving any week now, but it'll be a long time before I get to travel. A lot of times I wish I was (ethically and sustainably) super rich so I could tour the world regularly. So much cool stuff out there!

Carved into a cliff? No? It’s like this huge bronze Buddha and there’s like a little tourist trap village at the bottom of it lol. The Tian Tan Buddha in Ngong Ping. You need to ride a sky tram up to it. I think maybe the one you’re thinking of is in China? I’m in Hong Kong lol.

Internet searches can be pretty wonky and unreliable. I saw several bronze statues pop up.

I’ve switched locales, in San Fran for a transfer back to
Canada! So it’s like 12C right now. While HK is like double that lol. XD

More rain. No mowing today. That'll have to wait until Monday when supposedly we'll go from daily rain to more normal rain for us this time of year.
