It's so oppressively humid today, and the sky has been grumbling with thunder for hours, but we've only gotten a little sprinkle as far as rain goes. I'm sure we're going to get hammered soon. I can't wait! I hope we get a bunch of big boomers!

Today is absolutely glorious.
Sunny. Warm. 31. And not too humid.
I wish I hadn't spent the entire day inside, doing job applications.

Today is literally perfect.
High of 29. 59% humidity. Sunshine all day, with just the faintest speckle of clouds to keep it from scorching. A light breeze to cool you off.
A perfect summer day.

Oh, what a bummer! It's a beautiful day for it, too! Do you, at least, have the day off?

We've got Independence Day coming up soon. Just in a few days, actually! I have no idea what we are doing yet. We had planned on spending it with my partner's family who we're visiting, probably go see the fireworks somewhere, but his father has been in and out of the hospital, so I don't know if he's going to be able to do anything with large crowds of people.

Menstrual synchrony is actually a very contested subject!

It was originally propose by Martha McClintock in a 1971 article in Nature. Since then, there's been quite a bit of scrutiny on the methodology of her original experiment, and there have been quite a few replication studies done that couldn't replicate McClintock's findings.

It's fascinating stuff.
