I was taking a little quiz, and it showed black images of different countries and I had to answer which ones they were.
I SURPRISINGLY got most of them right.
I say surprisingly because I learned those in Geography, like a hundred years ago.
I think it's cool that I did remember them that long.
I can't remember most of everything else Bu

You ever experienced something like that?

I always remember these little details from things I saw or read or experienced a long, long, time ago and I just can't understand why or how I remember them. Seriously, if I remembered the stuff I read for my exams as well, I'd be set for life.

It's not over yet.
There's a lot to look forward to.
Keep going.
You can do this :)

I also have random tidbits that I remember and sometimes I don't remember where I have learned them from but I definitely know that they are facts or are a part of something that has been written, rehearsed,
etc.

One example just has to be an entire lecture on Mt. St. Helen that I had from a Natural Disasters course that I took back in college lol

I do occasionally amaze myself when I manage to pull some bit of relevant information up from the depths of my brain.

I also remember quite a bit of irrelevant info. Like my first boyfriend's phone number from high school. That was 37 years ago, and we're both married to different people.

Our subconscious mind is really amazing - it happens to me all the time but mostly with random useless things. I recently entered a relative's house, that I haven;t been in 10 years or more, and I remembered everything perfectly. Almost like I was living there ;o

There's also things like never forgetting how to ride a bike.

I took a really long hiatus from doing art and was worried about starting again.
I did fine and I improved.
I felt like I'd hold the pen wrong and screw up a lot xD;

I think the human brain is awesome 8u
Except mine most of the time <<

I took a chance on some homemade jam at a garage sale last year, then regretted not getting more. I went to garage sales again yesterday, and I recognized the jam house right away! It's a good thing that I recognized it too because I didn't see the jam. But I asked the lady, and she said she had one jar left! I was surprised that I remembered that, and I was glad I did because I wouldn't have gotten the jam otherwise, and my mother was even more surprised than I was that I remembered that!

I can remember useless facts about stuff from cllass/research all the time. Also languages. I probably remember 80% of what I've learned from each I've attempted, despite not having used many of them for some time now.

...but in terms of personal data, I'm awful. I don't remember how old I am. I can't remember what happened to me yesterday. I just...meh. Irrelevant.

I also remember a ton of random things. I don't mind at all because a lot of it is pretty interesting. Though I do wish that some more important stuff would stick in my mind as well. lol.
