What ruins my alone time is other people. Like no. Leave me alone

Generally it's leaving the house. Not only does leaving the house also imply people, but it also wears me out so much I just go to sleep once I'm alone instead of doing something fun.

Family...I share a room with my 2 sisters and I have 3 brothers. Plus my parents, so it seems like everyone wants something.

Or that people don't understand that when I have my headphones on, it means don't talk to me. Like, they're not even cheap little earbuds. They're the large noise-cancelling, over-the-ear kind that are extremely obvious.

Sometimes I turn the volume up when they're on so I don't hear people. It's usually pretty low because I get headaches easily :/

My father. Hands down.

I mean, seriously, I could be doing ANYTHING. Studying, playing a game, using my phone, listening to music, being on KofK, even humming to myself. He'll march in and tell me to do something. And then he'll crib that I'm not doing the stuff that I'm supposed to be doing, when he's the one that made me do something else in the first place

when i still lived with my family, it was..... everybody. the constant presence of someone in the house with me meant i was never alone. the walls were paper thin and everybody could hear everything that everybody was doing.

now that i live with my friends i have much more privacy and i finally have the luxury of being alone when i need to be. the best part is, in this house the doors and walls muffle sound, so you can shut your door and count on nobody being able to hear what you're doing or saying.

My mother talks non-stop.
