As a lot of people know - I don't smile or laugh much.
Apparently that means I'm mean, depressed, humorless, etc.
I don't like being forced to smile and when I laugh out loud, sometimes it hurts and I cough.
But I do get caught off guard and I do bust a gut or may chuckle.
This seems to scare my sister.
I also shock other family when I do laugh like that.

My aunt from out of town was visiting and she took me shopping.
She overheard this lady having an issue with a worker and she walked over and joined.
It freaked me out so bad. I don't like confrontation.
I've seen so many arguments and physical fighting, so I assume everything will be violent.
When she came back, I told her she scared me.

I also get scared when we're in the car and my aunt or mom honk at someone for being stupid.
My mom did that once and this guy got out of his car and started walking towards us.
So I panic when they do that.


Does anyone you're with a lot do something that scares you?

A friend of mine worries about almost everything. I know I scare her with things since I don't like standing by while something is happening. One time she had to pull me away because I was about to go tell a lady off for screaming at her son for not knowing something. He was like 10. It's the mom's job to teach the kid if he doesn't know something, not scream at them. But even with how much I worry her with things for some reason she doesn't pay attention to cars so I'm always grabbing her arm or blocking her in packing lots or at crosswalks. She really needs to learn to look both ways.

my mom is a speed freak and likes to drive at 80mph down a bumpy two-lane rural highway where the legal speed limit is 35.... AT NIGHT.
on more than one occasion i found myself close to passing out from terror.
