The faculty doesn't help with industrial training at all. We have to organise it ourselves, although it helps greatly if you are close to phd students or if you're an active member of an engineering society. They recently changed the rules such that you cannot claim more than 20 days of training before 3rd year. It's already hard enough as it is to get 1 company to accept you for 60 days >>
I'll probably finish this semester and start resume spamming in the break and see what I can do in the upcoming summer.
I didn't know that. Ethanol reminds me of all those chemistry labs I had to be in in high school and 1st year. We produced ethanol and distilled it once and the entire room smelt like a mixture of bready beer.
I've been caught as well! ;-; I sometimes ask myself questions and proceed to answer them out loud. Then I laugh. It's so embarrassing. Usually I pretend nothing happened when I'm caught. "I'm not crazy, you are."

I was initially interested in working as a clinical psychologist and maybe taking post grad medicine to work towards psychiatry. I was torn between psychology and engineering after the HSC. Too bad I picked the wrong one as my first option. I didn't think I would get in b. psyc (with honours) because the course ATAR was pretty high and engineering usually sits low 90s. My thought process was, "if I don't get into psych, so be it. Mech eng would be fun anyway."
-eats the feathers-
Long distance sucks. We're not an official couple. We're like borderline seeing each other or just friends. We don't know ._. He's graduating this year and he doesn't know where he's moving. It could be Sydney, he could be staying in Canberra. He could even be going back to Scotland. Currently, it looks like it might be another 6 months in Canberra. We were supposed to move on from each other ages ago but we're still in this situation
My ex is just not very good with understanding people on an emotional level. He's indecisive and he's a lonely person. Since December 2013. So a while now.
UNSW is good for graduates and post grads but it's terribly disorganised for undergrads. Depends which faculty though. Well, it's mostly prestige but they're affiliated with a lot of great businesses and you can land a good job afterwards. Electrical engineering is the best faculty. Mech eng is by far the worse. At first there were excuses like, "our central office building is currently under renovation." No, Kane Murdoch is just a d*ck head with attitude problems.
B-b-but all my close friends are not engineers ;-; And the friends I have in engineering are mutual friends with my ex or they've already graduated.
One day I'll rake up the confidence to join. I'm just not ready yet x_x
It's technically not too late to join revue if you have time. You can do tech but it might be different for Usyd. I'm not too sure. We have a lot of people who have already graduated or moved on to other degrees in alternate unis/colleges and they're still around working on projects.
Have you done any acting, singing or dancing before? c:
I can't believe it's going to be raining again through the rest of the week ;-;
@Dream:
Sent you the kanzashi. c:
Thank you! I know I deserve better. I'm too gorgeous for him any way -hair flick- (lol, jks). We were too similar to be a couple in terms of emotional incompetency

What are feels and how do I communicate them?
I've taken those before. My current partner loves them. He's very much the opposite of me. I'm mostly an introvert. I don't remember what the other letters were. I didn't know arrow was your twin o: I thought you were just regular siblings. Are you identical or fraternal twins?
edit: I got bored and did it
I'm pretty sure it's the same as always
