Thanks. I'm gonna try. But my angst is through the roof now, lol.
I like having everything planned out. And it was. But now everything
is all sdfkjashdkfjn and I don't know what's going on. I can't
relax like this. But I'm gonna try. If I concentrate real hard
on my hair then maybe I'll be okay, lol.
I'm mixed, lol. My hair is super extra obnoxiously curly.
I love my hair and it's pretty, not many girls of colour
can say they like their natural hair since they usually destroy it
with chemicals and products. But I never used any so I have long
healthy curly hair. ;3
As for growing it out, I don't know about straight hair since that's
not what I have, but I know at Walgreens [ or whatever convenience
stores are around you probably ], they have shampoos and conditioners
and other hair things that are like Keratin Therapy and stuff that's
good for helping your hair grow and whatnot. o: Maybe you should peruse
the hair care aisle and look around for Keratin Therapy / Hair Growth
serums and stuff. But when it comes to them, it pays off too get the more
expensive items since they'll usually work better. And always follow the
directions even though they seem pretty basic. If you're doing something
wrong then you won't get the right results. [ Commons sense, I know xD ]
I also hear that not washing it every day is good for it. Or at least using
Shampoo on it every time you wash it because Shampoo takes out
your natural oils and you should only use it if your hair is like actually
dirty or really noticeably greasy or something. p:

My stylist has been telling me, since I wanna grow my hair out longer
like down my back lol to stop putting my hair up in ponytails all the time.
I've ALWAYS put my hair up since it's so crazy and unmanageable.
But he said using scrunchies and tight ponytails are not good for your hair
[ when you have my texture ]. Soooo I've been trying more wash-n-go styles.
Normally, I would just wash it, wrap it in a towel while I'm dressing, then let
it down and just let it dry. No products or anything. But I was watching hair tutorials
and noticed that literally all the curlyhaired ethnic babes were putting junk
in their hair afterward xD So I asked my stylist and he suggested this brand
that's good for black girl curly hair. I got this Curl-Defining Smoothie stuff,
and some Leave-In Conditioner. He said to just wash it, semi-dry it with a TShirt
instead of a towel [ because that decreases frizz p: ], then just take sections
of my hair and put these products all the way through, root to tip.
He said it should make my curls more bouncy and stay together without
getting all frizzy and crazy and huge afro-like. This will be my first attempt,
so if it ends up looking craycray, I have a scrunchie ready for temporary bad
hair day relief. xD So we'll see how it goes. I can always try again tonight
and hope it comes out better because I won't have time to do anything in the morning.
We're leaving at like 6am to go to the beach and I am not waking up at
4am to shower LOL. Soooo.
