If you were chill/relaxed/patient before, then usually anger management isn't the issue and the anger is only a symptom...
So I hope you really can relax soon.

Oooh! curly hair! I like curly hair. But then again, most people like what they don't have...My hair's completely straight except for one part in my bangs that's extremely curly no matter what I do (it's annoying and makes me look like a failed mangacharacter)

I never really know how to take care of my hair. I like to grow it out, but lately it's just stopped... Any tips?

I hope someone wakes up then, a good shower is lovely. Especially in hot weather.

@Aki- :D okay~ what do you wanna do with your hair with the new products you got?

@Vineda- I have super long hair currently (to my lower back). And usually every month I would trim like 1 inch of my hair. Usually that helps it grow better

Thanks Errisa: I used to have hair up to my lower back (just below that actually, but that's a bit rude writing) but then I cut it Super short. Now that it's growing out again, I usually go once every three months or so to trim them a bit, but it's just refusing to grow past a certain point... (about mid back) So Ok, I'll try scheduling my trims closer together. See if that helps...

I really miss my longer hair... (hence asking for tips)

Thanks. I'm gonna try. But my angst is through the roof now, lol.
I like having everything planned out. And it was. But now everything
is all sdfkjashdkfjn and I don't know what's going on. I can't
relax like this. But I'm gonna try. If I concentrate real hard
on my hair then maybe I'll be okay, lol.

I'm mixed, lol. My hair is super extra obnoxiously curly.
I love my hair and it's pretty, not many girls of colour
can say they like their natural hair since they usually destroy it
with chemicals and products. But I never used any so I have long
healthy curly hair. ;3
As for growing it out, I don't know about straight hair since that's
not what I have, but I know at Walgreens [ or whatever convenience
stores are around you probably ], they have shampoos and conditioners
and other hair things that are like Keratin Therapy and stuff that's
good for helping your hair grow and whatnot. o: Maybe you should peruse
the hair care aisle and look around for Keratin Therapy / Hair Growth
serums and stuff. But when it comes to them, it pays off too get the more
expensive items since they'll usually work better. And always follow the
directions even though they seem pretty basic. If you're doing something
wrong then you won't get the right results. [ Commons sense, I know xD ]
I also hear that not washing it every day is good for it. Or at least using
Shampoo on it every time you wash it because Shampoo takes out
your natural oils and you should only use it if your hair is like actually
dirty or really noticeably greasy or something. p:

My stylist has been telling me, since I wanna grow my hair out longer
like down my back lol to stop putting my hair up in ponytails all the time.
I've ALWAYS put my hair up since it's so crazy and unmanageable.
But he said using scrunchies and tight ponytails are not good for your hair
[ when you have my texture ]. Soooo I've been trying more wash-n-go styles.
Normally, I would just wash it, wrap it in a towel while I'm dressing, then let
it down and just let it dry. No products or anything. But I was watching hair tutorials
and noticed that literally all the curlyhaired ethnic babes were putting junk
in their hair afterward xD So I asked my stylist and he suggested this brand
that's good for black girl curly hair. I got this Curl-Defining Smoothie stuff,
and some Leave-In Conditioner. He said to just wash it, semi-dry it with a TShirt
instead of a towel [ because that decreases frizz p: ], then just take sections
of my hair and put these products all the way through, root to tip.
He said it should make my curls more bouncy and stay together without
getting all frizzy and crazy and huge afro-like. This will be my first attempt,
so if it ends up looking craycray, I have a scrunchie ready for temporary bad
hair day relief. xD So we'll see how it goes. I can always try again tonight
and hope it comes out better because I won't have time to do anything in the morning.
We're leaving at like 6am to go to the beach and I am not waking up at
4am to shower LOL. Soooo.

@Vineda- :o yea I also think it depends on stress too- and diet. I have a friend who used to have really slow hair growth (she couldn't grow it past her shoulder) in university but once she left blam its all long now.

@Aki- :o ohh wow that is a lot of work! My hair is pretty much the opposite. Its straight and refuses to hold curls. After a lot of product and stuff too. My hair does get reallly frizzy after been in ponytails so I just use a lot of leave in hair conditioners too!

Thanks. I'll peruse that aisle then next time I'm at the store. (I'm just not as at ease there usually since most of the people I find there are really pretty or have loads of makeup and confidence, whereas I wouldn't even know how to put on make up or dress like them if my life depended on it...)
I've never met a stylist. It would be so handy though...
And yeah. I know it depends on a lot of factors, but for me it's more of a gene-related thing. Nobody knows why, but most women in our family's hair stops growing at a certain length once they reach a certain age.
It's weird, but I'm pretty much the only one still looking for a way around that.
I don't shampoo my hair every day so I'm good on that, but yeah, maybe a different shampoo'll help!
Thanks for the tips you two!

Good luck with the hair care Agriimony. It seems like a lot of work, but if it pays off, it sounds like it'll look wonderful!

Errisa: hair that doesn't hold curls is no fun right? Mine's the same (except the bangs) I can try whatever I want, it just doesn't work. Last hairdresser that tried (and failed) ended up using an entire can of spray/gel... Not fun to wash out...
There's a few other things you can try though that'll make it look lovely. I like working with braids in particular, but straight hair's really easy to put in different shapes of buns/do-ups...

This is going to be a lot of work. But if it looks nice, I'll take pics.
If you don't see pics, you'll know why. xD

My hair, natural, is a little past my shoulders. When it's straightened,
the longest part will go down to aaaaalmost the middle of my back.
I want my hair au naturale to go down to the middle of my back xD
It seems like it takes so long to grow my hair out. I feel like I should
look for growth stuff too. D8

@Vineda- D: Sounds like my last hairdresser too- it was for prom and I was like can I have simple curls at the bottom. we used the whole hairsppray container and it didn't hold even for 30mins ><

Thing about my hair is that its very thin and my face is so small. That if I try to do braids or updos it looks like I'm a child. Seriously I went to the child clothing store and my head is the same size as a 3year toddler :qhehe:

@Aki- hehe I'll wait for pictures then! :qh: And another thing I do is that I comb in my conditioner too (don't use my hands).

I've heard that about the wetcombing as well for treatment in both smoothing, nurturing and adding volume! (It doesn't work for me since my hair wet is invincible to combs or brushes) If there's no pictures, maybe you can try that next Agriimony? Though I hope what you're trying now works as well!
And sorry on the head size 'problem'. I know I have an egghead, but I guess a small head has it's own issues...
I guess elegant updo's are also out?
Though when you're older you might appreciate looking young?

Yea xD I try really hard to get some volume. But >< definitely not enough. And maybe xD Its more like my head the size of a baby so my size 2/4 body looks way bigger than it should >>
