My nose is not available for any price. It could be rented. DM to discuss terms.

I like the over-acting. It's cute. I'm guessing she's not as young as she looks, because that's fashionable. If she is, it's not a deal breaker for me.

Did they at least tell him it wasn't a good idea? Because it's really obviously not a good idea. They shouldn't be raising expectations unfairly.

Mine does that. Maybe not doing it was one of the old computer's problems?

Writing notes: Act more alluring. Why include any attraction at all? Why not asexual lesbian superhero? You can be ahead of the trend.
You spent so much time on Tumblr, you internalized it. Your thoughts are their thoughts.

No, no, yes, maybe.

Can it be rented without also renting the rest of you?

You've clearly got dad watching the show, too. I tried to get on Netflix last night only to find the two of you using both available screens, and dad was watching Secret Healer. You know Netflix tells you what other people are watching if you try to use too many screens? I know that now.

They didn't warn him away, unfortunately. That was one thing that bothered me a little about their style of life advice--it was so life-affirming and encouraging that they didn't stop to question whether their subject's goals were actually good ideas or not. They were too busy being a cheering section. Great for self-esteem, not great for managing expectations.

That's... not unreasonable. Old laptop would get really, really warm, and hardly ever activated its fans.

There might be an asexual lesbian superhero. At least one asexual lesbian superhero. I kind of want to write a polyamorous situation? So I'd be writing about polyamorous superhero lesbians, when I am none of those things. The plot just kind of demanded it. So trendy.

So do some dusting! I'm sure all your old ideas are eagerly waiting to be remembered. I think that the plot, setting, and characters you choose don't really matter, because everything you write is good for reasons that often have nothing to do with those three things.

I'm not sure. Maybe if I had something to do when I wasn't smelling things for you.

Ooh. Espionage. Yeah, I know he wanted to watch it. He just couldn't remember what it was called. Sorry we can't all watch Netflix at the same time.

That's the problem with positive people. They don't consider all of the many things that can and will go wrong. Pessimism is the only way. Speaking of that, I got to act as Dad's social anxiety shoulder devil this weekend. Feeling a little bit off is the perfect excuse to cancel undesirable social interaction.

You melted your old computer? Harsh.

That sounds very trendy, yeah. Why not a polyamorous asexual lesbian superhero? I mean, that sounds like an awful waste of time to me, relationship-wise, but I am also exhausted by the idea of seeing my own friends. Could work.

None of my old ideas sound any good to me right now. Nor do any new ideas. I'm having a bad mental health month. BaMeHeMo. The only things I managed to eat yesterday were Soylent and graham crackers. Everything else was too much work and required possibly seeing people.

"Literally anything", I think, is what it's called when a person does things besides smell for others. On that topic, my apartment smells super weird right now and I can't figure out why.

I've considered snooping on your guys' Netflix profiles for the sake of snooping, but I decided not to, for the sake of not being the worst. I am often curious as to what you all use it for, however.

There is definitely little to no pessimism on Queer Eye. Unless you consider a healthy wariness of jerkish police officers by Black men to be pessimism. Anyway, watch the show.
Ooh, drag him down to our level. Cancel all undesirable social interactions, and some desirable ones.

I said that there may be one or more asexuals in this polyamorous relationship! I'm working it out. I think the polyamory thing will be more difficult to write than the lesbian thing, because, as you say, exhaustion.

Oh, a BaMeHeMo. Don't worry, I'll be home soon, and then, regardless of your mental health, I will also be nearby. Yay?
Consider me rightly corrected on the value of soylent. I'm glad you had soylent so that you still got nutritional value on a bad mental health day. Soylent good. Nutrition good.

It could be a very smell-intensive period. I can't exactly do anything else while smelling. How could I concentrate? What does it smell like? Does it remind you of anything?

Go ahead and snoop. It will give me blanket permission to snoop on yours, of course. I would be happy to discuss similarities and differences in our Lists.

All pessimism is healthy. I don't think this show is a good idea.
Exactly. Plus, the interaction was basically a rude imposition by the other party, and Dad is much too nice, so I felt entirely justified in derailing it.

I thought you meant that one or more asexual lesbian superheroes might already exist. Now I understand. Or rather, I fail to see how a bunch of asexuals in a polyamorous relationship differs from friendship, but I also suspect I am somewhat or very aromantic. Could you maybe just write about a group of friends who like to live together, fear other people and own a bunch of cats? That's what I want to read.

Yay! But I still want some sort of guidance on April NaNo. Like telling me what to do so I can be contrary and think of something else.
It's the least difficult food in the universe. It's like a non-decision.

It smells kind of sweet, and kind of like bad dairy. I can't localize it. I may have to burn the whole thing down.

I don't know what to do with my list. Do I put everything I like on the list? Are there things I should leave off the list? Do I put things I haven't seen but want to on the list?

Wrong. The show is a great idea. That couple is back together, by the way. It's a rollercoaster.
Ooh, people were rudely imposing on Dad? Bad form. Protect him.

I'm not entirely sure how it differs from a friendship, either, but I still haven't figured out whether I'm aromantic or not, or even what that actually means. Shrug. I kind of plan to write the viewpoint character as maybe asexual, and her two love interests as not, so at least to them it will be different from a friendship.
I would write about that, but I also love That Messy Drama, and it's hard to write That Messy Drama when everyone is friends with cats. When people have Big Romantic Feelings it's easy to bring in That Messy Drama.

Okay, guidance. Use this generator. But only once. And you have to use everything it gives you. I don't make the rules; this is just what happens when you don't like any of your own ideas.
A non-decision that results in complete nutrition. Sounds liked a Depression Hack(TM).

Is it your garbage can, the litter box, or something that died under your bed? Could it be your garbage disposal? Did you leave something to rot on top of the fridge? Have you washed your sheets recently?

I put anything that sounds interesting on the list. My list is much too large. Things I've already seen don't go on the list, but they do get a thumbs up.

They're only together because of the internet. It won't last.
He's much too soft on imposition. There's only so much I can do.

Shrug. Shrug. Shrug. Who is this woman and how does she attract so many partners? What is she doing with her time?
What if the cats like one person more than another? I am always hurt when Moose chooses Dad's lap instead of mine.

I just remembered I had been thinking about a Naruto/Stargate AU. I don't know.
Anxiety has temporarily defeated Depression. It's like Godzilla vs. Mothra. I'm not sure who I'm rooting for or why.

There are definitely questionable things in my garbage can, but when I sniff it directly I don't get any stronger smell. The litter box is fine. It might be my garbage disposal??? I can't localize the smell at all! Maybe abandoning the place for a week will dissipate it.

The list if what netflix uses to suggest new things for us, right? So wouldn't it be best to put things we've enjoyed on the list? I don't know. What do the thumbs do?

The internet is the worst. I certainly hope she didn't get back together with him because of internet pressure. That ranks among the very worst reasons to become romantically entangled.

It's not really that she's attracting all of these people so much as she's very lucky. Or unlucky. These are superhero antics, after all, and she's the non-superhero among them. The girlfriend archetype. The archetypal girlfriend?
I don't think anyone ever has or ever will write an angst fic about a cat sitting on someone else lap. Except maybe HP Lovecraft. I can see him having done that.

I am here for the Naruto/Stargate AU. Which is the setting and which is the characters??? What brought this about??? Give it to me.
I think the appeal of Godzilla is that it always goes back in the sea when the conflict is over, whereas the other guys stay and wreak havoc forever. So if you can figure out which of your mental health issues goes away on its own after a while... that one's Godzilla? This is a difficult metaphor.

Is it stronger in the hallway? Have you checked your bathroom garbage? Make sure you don't have anything rotten anywhere, or a week will make it worse.

The list is part of it, but thumbs also influence its suggestions. Don't bother adding something to the list if you don't intend to watch it - use a thumb instead. You can also thumbs down things you dislike.

I feel like influence was unavoidable and they will not end up happy.

The non-superhero who just happens to attract the affection of multiple lesbian superheroes? Fishy. Very fishy. I call MS.
He did, but there were unfortunate racial implications and nobody wants to read it anymore. Plus, the MC was afraid of lettuce.

I was just thinking that Orochimaru reminds me of a Goa'uld. Then I imagined him saying "jaffa kree" because that's the most important thing about Stargate. Plus, ninja teams might translate well to SG teams. So.
It's even less than a one-off gag. I don't know what to do with it.
They both go away sometimes. It's impossible to choose one.

It's definitely not in the hallway. I don't think it's in my bathroom? It's strongest in the kitchen zone. I hope there's nothing rotting on the floor between the oven and the counter. There's a non-zero chance of that happening. Why.

You're sure that's how it works? I trust you, but you'd better not lead me astray.

You misunderstand. She doesn't independently attract the attention of multiple lesbian superheroes. She meets one, and they end up dating. Then they eventually bring on one of their supervillain enemies as the third in their relationship. The MC's superhero girlfriend is the reason additional super-lesbians are involved. The high incidence of lesbians is one of those coincidences that happens in trendy literature.
Calling MS hasn't ever been helpful, and hasn't even been trendy since 2007. You're showing your age. Anyway, normal woman attracting multiple remarkable romantic partners has been a staple of romantic literature, since, like, always. Wish fulfillment? Yes.
I think he once wrote an actual story about a hero who betrays the alien race that had helped him throughout the entire plot, because the aliens expressed some interest in eating cats. I didn't finish reading it, but I didn't notice any overt racism in that one.

Good. Sounds like an excellent basis for 50000 words. Start planning character roles, and if a plot doesn't come to you by April, you can always write the single one-off gag and see where it goes from there.
Maybe it's a Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla situation. It's Godzillas all the way down, and none of them are keeping their schedule of returning to the ocean. Hopefully they swim away soon.
